Well as I get more into wheelin sooner or later an axle swap will be in my future. Since rear axle swaps are usually easier and more common I am looking for possible replacements for the Dana 30 HP with minimal PITA fabricating.
I know I will more than likely have to change bolt patterns, and I can possibly get some Dana 44's cheap from a Wagoneer. I guess I'm wondering in your guy's experience what are common minimally hard axle swaps for these awesome XJ's?
By the way I run 32's right now on the Dana 30 HP and Chryco 8.25 and so far I have been very happy, but I know at least 35's or 36's are in my future so I want to set a goal for what I want this thing to transform into.
