My 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L6 2wd tranny is a AW4 ,check engine light came on so after scanning with obds2 I have a po740 (torque converter clutch circuit malfunction),and the torque converter will not lockup rpm's are to high and now after I have been driving for awhile it has began to stall when I accelerate, once it starts stalling it run's fine below 2000 rpm but when you go over 2000 the engine stalls could both of these be because of the po740 code or am I maybe looking at two diferent problems can you tell me how to repair this problem, or point me at some Info. thanks in advance.
