Steering knuckle interchangability

Ok guys I found a 2WD front axle beam for my project truck. The u-pull-it wants 45 bucks for just the beam it self no knuckles or brakes. They want 26 bucks a piece for the knuckles. Without being able to tell you the year of the axle beam can you tell me if the knuckles on my 86 project will work? I am pretty sure the upper ball joint is the same up to 93 but I dont know about the lowers. Can anyone confirm or correct me? I will go back up there tomorrow and see what year it is and pull it depending on your answers tonight, please help.

Sounds like a fiar price, but you need to know what year the beam is so we can tell you what will work. If it's a comanche (MJ) knuckles are the same 86-92 2wd.

It does help a little, at least now I know that they changed ball joints.
