Exhaust?

I plan on doing something with my exhuast because right now my cat isnt connected very well to my muffler, and muffler back is not connected at all. I was looking at the Gibson exhaust system, but I was just thinking take it to an exhuast place, and get a straight pipe from the cat back, dropping the muffler. This would be MUCH MUCH cheaper, and I think will get what I am looking for done.

It probably won't sound to good for one thing.

The second thing (more importantly) that I'd be concerned with is the fact that on most state land, a flame arrester is required, and the cat does not meet that requirement. The likelihood of a spark escaping your tail pipe are slim, but it's still the law, and I'd hate for a ranger to write me a ticket and ruin my day of wheeling by escorting me off of public land and back onto the road. A Cherry bomb doesn't fit the bill either. However, one of the $20 turbo mufflers does.

you can do a cheaap cat back for about 40 bucks, a tail pipe is about 15 and then a cheap turbo for 20 then some mis. clamps and tubing and your done.
