That little cap on the bottle is a big overlook. I had no problems befor, then I started the jeep went three miles shut it off and old faithful blew. Took me three days too find it. There are two little valves in the cap. One was stuck and the one's spring was shot. I tore it apart and streached the springs. I put the cap back on and went muding for two hours with not even looking at the temp gauge. Moral is when in dought think small.

GB,

Just because of lessons I learned on my 88 XJ I keep a spare "cap" with me at all times. I keep it in a zip lock bag in the center consol or under the back seat. I learned it is a dealer only part and my luck I'll be 50 miles from a dealer when I need one.
