Door Locks

i have power locks on my '90 xj, the drivers door will not lock. not with the power switch, can't even push the button over to lock it(won't move) and not even with the key. the rest of the doors work. what can i do?

I JUST finished this on my 91 about 1/2hr ago. you need to remove the latch, clean it up get all the crud out of it (carb cleaner works) then re lube it with Lithium grease. Work all the latches etc on it for a few minutes so it'll move freely. Reinstall and you should be working fine. Of course your lock actuator has to be working for your power locks to work.
