good stock wheel replacement?

Right now, i'm riding on some generic street tires, and when I try to go offroading, and hit some mud or loose sand, i find myself without traction for a little bit, it's not very encouraging. So I'd like to replace em with decent tires that offers some traction. I'm plannin on some lifts and 31's but that's much later. I don't know if BFG at's go that small (stock) haha.

You can get a lot of a/t's in 235/75/15 which will fit a stock XJ 15x7 wheel with no rubbing. I'm pretty sure you can even get BFG a/t's in that size.
