a pal of mine just bought a 99 4dr XJ he wants to upgrade his stock steelie rims to the aluminum alloy ecco rims. how much in terms of weight savings does he get from stock steelies to ecco aluminum wheels? is it negligable? he is thinking about getting new tires since the current ones are at 54,000 miles that he just bought. I've been looking at ebay lately for decent tire and rim combo deal for him. Anyone been happy with buying tires off ebay? any experience with Goodyear GSA's?
