need instructions on cleaning throttle body

I don't have a link but there are two ways of doing it.
One is 'in place' using a can of spray cleaner that is sensor safe and is done while the engine is running. Use your thumb to blip the throttle and keep the spray out of and off of the TPS and the air flow sensor. These parts are plastic and the cleaner can damage them.
Number Two is with the throttle body off and on a bench. If you don't have a FSM or Digital camera make drawings of where everything goes before you remove it and label if necessary. Remove the sensors and then clean the heck out of it. Use q-tips for hard to reach areas.

Jeff,

take the throttle body off and clean it. This is very easy, just be sure to take the sensors off and don't play with them(don't try to move any movable sensor parts, simply spray with good cleaner and like rich said use q-tips). Let it dry off and reinstall it. Also, before you remove it run to your local hardware store and pick up a drum sander for your drill and bore your TB out before you clean it all for about $15.00. Great cheap upgrade and a reason to purchase a new tool; what more do you need.
