auto trannie swap ????

i have a91 mj 2wd std iwant to swap in an auto 4wd besides the trannie (aw4) and tc &frontend what wiring &or parts do i need

You will need the computer, $119 at autozone,
Torque converter $100-195 NEW
Neutral safety switch $357 At autozone
Shifter
Dip stick $15ish
Tranny cooler $20-30
Kick down linkage
Throttle Postion sensor that also goes to tranny computer (some years?)
Need a 23 spline input transfercase. (my 5sp has a 21spl input NP231)

I think there are TPS sensors that feed back to the Auto tranny computer, and I know the auto tranny computer changed on newer cherokees.

Im look at the same swap aw4 in front of a 23 spline d300.
I found an aw4 for $50 locally but no computer, and nuthing else on the list so I turned it down.

I have a torqe convertor, and I know that GreedyXJ has a TCU computer.

That puts you half way there and a lot cheeper too.

You dont need a neutral saftey switch you can by-pass that. I did that when it went out on mine.

GreedyXJ does not have the TCU any more. I have it. If you are interested in either or both (TCU & torque convertor) let me know.

i am just locking for info its alot more easy &cheaper to source the parts way up here in nova scotia canada but thanks for the offer buy the way i am planing on putting a d300 &waggie axles under my $600 2wd 91 comanchee with 120000 kms
