I'm gonna build a set of fullsize axles for my XJ and wanted some input before I get started. Besides D60's, what is there? I plan on running 37's or 38's. What kind of donor vehicles should I look for axles on? I would like to keep my stock tranny, unless I can get a better tranny that will swap in relatively easy, so lets hear it.

Volvo.

14 bolts come from Chevy/Gm pickups vans and a number of other apps. Just go all out ROCKWELL 2.5tons//youll never break a shaft. Maybe your wallett though.

14 bolt has low ground clearance and the stock diff cover is weak as hell so be careful. Id just go with Ford 8.8 or Dana 44 and upgrade your shafts.
