beefy new D44 dif cover for free

I was up at my buddy AJ's salvage yard and found this

so we marked it and AJ went to work with the torch

finished product installed. No more worries about cover peelback and the fill plug is higher. Total cost 3 sawzall blades a grinding wheel longer bolts and a can of paint.

It is 1/4" thick everywhere. The big ugly piece we started with is part of a twin beam front axle assembly from a F150 or bronco sort of a hybrid between a solid axle and IFS. not sure what year.
