What Spline?

I'm going to look at a '98 Cherokee Classic tommarrow. I'm assuming it's got the Chryco 8.25 but is there a way to tell what spline? That is without pulling the axles. Also does anyone know a good axle I.D. site?

Justin

edit: I'm an idiot, there's a post similar to this one allready in progress. Guess I just got so giddy with new Jeep syndrome I stopped paying attention.

A '98 with an 8.25 axle would have 29 spline axles....

What's the difference between the classic and the SE models? Doesn't the "sport" model have the power windows/locks, etc.?
Just curious

Thanks for the info, I'm hoping it doesn't have ABS.

The Classic I'm going to look at tommarrow has pwr everything. i thought the Classic was the second from the top in models.

From bottom to top

SE
Sport
Classic
Limited

Could be wrong though

i almost bought a limited when i bought my classic
the only difference was, the limited had power seats(the only reason i chose mine, i am 6'4" and the power seat sits a little higher) and it had a trip computer, i think...
