Hey guys, my question is I have a 89 Jeep XJ with 8 inches of lift, a NP242, and Rubicon Expresses Hack and tap slip yoke eliminator kit. Anybody run the RE hack and tap and make their own rear shaft? My primary shaft is a Woody. What do people use as a backup and where did they get their ends for the shaft? I'm talking about the CV part and the mounting flange. I was tempted to just order another shaft as a spare, but I don't want to fork out another 300 bucks if I don't need to.

I carry my old Woods shaft as a spare and have a High Angle on as a primary.
If you want to build your own you can get mounting flanges, CVs, and other parts at any place that sells Spicer or Neapco parts.
