T-case leaking

Was no problem for me the last time I did it. I parked the rear tires on a couple of ramps. Hammered a screw driver through the old seal and popped it out. Covered the outside edge of the new seal with some silicon. Was careful to tap it in straight and not hammer very hard. Used a piece of wood, instead of metal on metal. There is a special tool for installing the seal, that I´ve never seen. Some people use a large socket and small hammer, to help in installing the new seal, so it doesn´t cant.
Replaced the rear seal a few times on a 241 tranfer I had, until I figured out the rear bushing was worn. Imagine the 231 is about the same setup, might have a close look at the play, at the yoke. May have to deal with the rear bushing, if the seal fails again quickly.
