NorthWest Fest July 24-25th

As stated, NorthWest Fest is officially scheduled for July 24-25th 2004 in Naches, WA.

It will be open to all XJ/MJ owners ( member or not), and any other vehicles (CJs, Broncos, etc) with member invitation.

Participants must be 18 years of age or have a "permission slip" from parent or guardian (including passengers).

All non-members must sign a liability waiver, including passengers.

All vehicles must have:
Registration
Insurance
Front Tow Points
Rear Tow Points
Tow Strap / Chain
Fire Extinguisher
First Aid Kit
Spare Tire
Lug Nuts – All Installed
Lug Wrench
Jack
Other items are optional, but tools, spare parts, etc are encouraged.

We need to form an Event Committee which consists of:
Event Coordinator- oversees event as a whole
Meal Coordinator- organizes the group meal (if we have one) on Saturday evening
Trail Coordinator- pics trail leaders and organizes the runs

As of now, we will take volunteers for these positions. They will be working with the NW BOD for the event.

On Saturday evening we should plan a casual gathering. As far as events go, that typically is a meal. We will discuss this in more depth and as to what type of meal it will be (potluck, or NW Chapter supplied).

wish I could be there

Well, I know I won't be able to make NW Fest. I will have taken leave by that time and be back in Germany. Hopefully we can get together to shoot the breeze or whatever mebbe in may sometime when I get back. will talk to you guys about it some more later.

I also would like to do what I can to help. I do not believe that I am a good candidate for any of the above mentioned jobs. However, if there is something I can do or bring to be of help I would be more than happy to do what I can to be of assistance.
