just like the title. doing a little routine maintainence today, and i need to check the level in the t-case, but don't have a socket that large. what do i need to pick up.

My 96 doesnt have bolts for the fill and drain plugs it has what I would call large set screws with a hex pattern. Must be different on the 97 and newer. Can anyone else shed some light on this or is it just a difference in the two years.

My 92 with a 231 t-case uses a 30mm socket.

good to go. but check this out. while i was down there, i changed my speedo gear to a 36 tooth to compensate for my 33's. funny thing is, i had been having a hesitation at about 3000 rpms that i had assumed was a bad tps, but after putting in the new gear and changing the fluid...gone. anyone ever heard of an incorrect speedo gear having this effect on acceleration?
