Detroit EZ locker

Hey guys important question. I have a 1996 cherokee country model WITH ABS. I bought an EZ locker a while back used and went to install it today. well it would't go. Is there different applications for ABS and NO ABS? What are the differences? Right now my jeep has BOTH diffs tore up in the driveway. I need to know so I can either start shopping for a new one and sell this one or try to figure out why this won't go if there is no difference. Thanks in advance. :wierd:

Tractech's website shows EZ for 35-C pn#812A020 w/o ABS and #812A025 with ABS.
