Starter Wiring

If I get some time this weekend I plan to upgrade the wiring of my charging system, while doing that I will be replacing the starter's hot wire. I was curious just how big I should go, I'm not sure how much draw to expect from the starter. I would like to avoid going too far into overkill on the starter wiring, but am open to suggestion.

go just a little bigger than stock. but make certian all connections are the best youve ever done. the starter can crap a wire out faster than anything. also make sure there is plenty of good grounds . without those it doesnt matter what the wire size is nothing will work right.
