Just bought a 92, completely stock except for the rims and tires. It has 15x7 al. rims with 3 & 7/8" of backspacing and 255/60R15 tires. My ? is will this cause premature wear on the unit bearings. TIA, Jim

Any thing we do that changes the stock specs probably doesn't do the components much good. But heck, it's too much fun not to and it's only money, a little grease, a slipped wrech, and a split open knuckle or two.

i have never seen the bearings wear on my jeep anyone around me? so i wouldn't even give it another thought if i were u!

I'm running 3 3/4" BS with 235x75x15, 30's and now 31's. I've had to replace one front bearing assembly in about the last 4 years, on a '93.

I don't worry about it..
