I had an intermittent no-start problem that for the world looked like the CPS. Ran codes and got nothing useful. Turned out to be the synch sensor in the distributor, meaning I had to replace the entire distributor. The bushings had quite a bit of play in them anyway (only 130k).
If you're having problems that seem related to the CPS, take off the dist cap, and jiggle the sensors assembly, then unplugg and clean out the connector to the wiring harness. Just thought people may need to check that part out since there at always a ton of "no start" threads on here.
