Powermaster FINALLY got here. It is the exact same size as stock, but is heavier and has an extra bolt on the back. I want so get some feedback to make sure I get the wiring correct. On the back of this new one, there are 3 connections: the wire harness, a bolt, and another connection that says BAT.
Am I correct to assume that the BAT = battery, the bolt is a ground, and the harness is well, for the harness?
Also, where should I ground the alternator to, since it was not done in stock?
Should I also ground my starter to the chasis as well, or run it to the block like it was in stock?
I have all the wires made. I've just been waiting for this damn thing to get here. Any other advice (don't say anything about the belts, I know). Im just curious about the wiring.
I will be knocking this out tomorrow morning, if all goes well, it should be done around noon. TIA.
