Canister behind the front bumper thingy...

What the heck is it for? I took off my front bumper and accidently riped off one of the vac. lines going to it. I havent noticed any changes in how my XJ drives or runs though. It does however make a wistling noise now...hehe. Im going to fix it, just wonder what it is, and what its for....???

I was guessing maybe its part of the A/C system? Or what about the D30 Vac. Disco. System?

Vac resivor for the HVAC, and everthing else.
