AC/heater fan

AC/heater fan is not working. I have a 95 4.0. The fan speed switch does not work and cant hear fan going just air or heat barely coming out of vents. but switch has no affect and cant hear fan going. anybody had this happen or know what the problem can be??? thanks

Turn the fan on high and then take your multimeter and see if you're getting voltage at the blower motor. If there is no voltage, then start by checking the fuse.

I had this problem and it turned out to be a problem with the control panel in the dash. I went to the junkyard and pulled one out of a donor - that fixed the problem.

If there is voltage to the blower motor, then it (the blower motor) probably needs to be replaced.
