Need EZ locker help...Help!

I'm trying to get my EZ locker installed in my D35 and having a little trouble. I can't get the second clutch gear in there. It would appear that I am 90-100 thou short of space in the window of the carrier. I can fit the clutch through the window with it the flats aligned top and bottom so they clear the sides of the carrier, but I need the slot in the teeth aligned the other way to clear the little hub on the side gear. Is it OK to clearance the locker to fit? Or maybe the carrier? Has anyone run into this problem before? The locker was for a C-clip axle, but Tractech tech said it will work either way. Please help!

Any pictures? I don't understand your names (clutch gear, hub on side gear)? I've installed a few lunch box lockers and have never had a problem.

The Trac Loc limited slip and a EZ Locker are two completely different things.

Do you have an axle shaft pulled?Heres a write-up on the install.
