Heater Controls 2000 XJ

Hey guys...I searched but didn't find much.

Starting today.....the heat only blows when I have the fan switched turned to "4". Any thoughts? Are the controls still vaccuum controlled on the nexer XJs?

If I turn the switch to 1, 2, or 3 it doesn't blow at all. Any ideas?

Blower motor resistor network is fried. Actually, some members have reported that a special fuse that is soldered into the network is what actually craps out, so if you are electro-mechanically inclined, you can rebuild your existing resistor network. Otherwise, buy a new one and install, and reap a true 4 speed fan again!
