Bushwackers for a 2000?

Hey, I wanted to buy myself a set of Bushwacker flares for my 2000. 4WD products says they have them for a 2000, when I called they said it was a misprint pre 96 only. That sucks. How much difference is there between <96 and 97>? Can I buy them and trim them to fit?
