D 30 carrier compatibility

is there a difference between the carriers for an axle with a high pinion or a low pinion?? my 87 low pinion will match a TJ carrier since they are all low in TJ's right.. just collecting cheap stuff on EBAY to do my gears and want to make sure i dont pick up the wrong thing. and i assume the "reverse cut" i see reffered to is for the HP diff.. right?

There's no differene in the carrier between HP and LP, only in the R&P. The differences in the carrier are for the various gear sizes. The D30 break is 3:73, I believe.
