Beadlock bolts - g5 or g8??

getting ready to put my tires on my new DIY beadlocks, they're 24 bolt locks, should I use g5 or g8?? I'm thinking 8 just cuz over kill never hurt anyone, however if g5 is still going to be more than what I need, I'll save a buck or two and do that.

Any opinions?


Side note: I still havn't got resolve yet on my other two tires, I have contacted Interco for their support.

5 is very adequate.....

cool, just wanted to be sure. It's not so much the purchase price, but the labor to mount these things, I'd hate to buy the 5's and then be told I should have gone with 8 and have to do all 96 bolts again.

I dunno, every beadlock I've seen uses grade 8. I'm not saying grade 5 won't work but I've never seen anyone use grade 5 bolts for their bead locks.

there's only about $3 differance between the 5 and the 8, I'm just going to use 8.

mine are 8's too, don't have to be, 5 is plenty
