If the lower hose doesn't see much pressure, then cuttin off the crimped metal connection and putting two hose clamps on it will work right? I can get on clamp past the lip, and one clamp before the lip. POS $17 dealer connector is goin back tommrow

You are correct - the transmission cooler lines are low pressure (I don't remember how low offhand) and will work just fine with a clamp and hose barb or beaded tube. Use the same principle as clamping any other hose.

Of course, you could always go to an external cooler and convert the whole system to -AN6 to make everything really easy to work with...

Okay, you got three replies on OEM and two here. This is why we ask that you NOT double post -- the responses get disjointed.

Sorry, but I'm moving this to OEM where it belongs and then closing it.
