8" coil ?

Why do skyjacker 8" coils fit on a 89+ XJs and not a 88. I have a 88XJ. On skyjacker web site they offer it for a 89 but not a 88.
As far as I know there is nothing diffrent about the 88 & 89.

That's typical.

A group of enthusiasts like this is bound to know more than a manufacturer that deals in many makes.

I agree that they would work.
