Does anyone know what it takes to install lights like that of a cj or tj off the windshjield? Will the bracket they sell fit an xj? What kind of mods does it take to make it work? I am looking to add a light on each side that is moveable. I've seen it on afew cherokees, but i am curious now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Tylor

noone has any experience with these lights? Do you understand what I am trying to explain? Let me know please.

I understand, but do not know of any pre-made brackets to do what you want. If you culd give-up movable, you could mount them to the cowl on either side of the removable portion. Interesting idea...let us know what you fab up.

A buddy of mine put police style spot lights thru the posts on each side of the windshield. (the light have handles inside the cab to point the lights wherever needed.)

I think he spent about 50-60 on each light. The company he got his thru made lights for XJ's and each came with a template as to where and how to cut the holes.

Will ask him about it later if anyone wants to know/see.

Might be a little pricey, but definitely has "c-o-o-l" factor!

Maybe Santa will bring it for Christmas!
