94 Brake booster help!!!!!

My brothers 94 just had the pads and mastercylinder replaced due to what we feel is bad stopping. Basically it stops like it the engine isnt runnning... you ever put a vehicle in nuetral and tried to stop it with out vaccum assist on the brakes?? Thats what it feels like...I keep being told to upgrade to 96+, but I don't have that option...anyone have a better suggestion?? Or better yet, a booster to helpme out??!?!?! please??

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak, and the booster isn't functioning.

And it's not a 96+, a 95 booster and m/c set will work.

no leaks, i checed with soapy water

Was it like that before the master cylinder was replaced? Perhaps they got the wrong parts, or installed it wrong. I'd check there first.

yep, ws like that before that too,thats WHY we replaced the MC, its was only $36 with a $29 core... so cheap insurance...
