Wiring diagram for a 1997+ power mirror

I added '97+ power mirrors to my '90 XJ.

I need a wiring diagram, or at least a color match, for the 4 wires of each plug. On the early model, 2 wires share a post. On the later model, there a total of 4 separate posts.

Anyone else done this?

Thanks Dave, but no luck. I think someone with an FSM will just have to look it up.

The wire colors are close, I think 3 of 4 are the same, so I might just try jumping some of them and seeing what happens.

That's a cool website though. As for wiring diagrams, they showed only a few basic panels or sheets, nothing really indepth. I'm sure it's better on other issues.

For the left mirror:

Yellow - Up
Orange/Yellow tracer - Down/right
Dark Blue/White tracer - Left
Dark Blue/Red tracer - Left
Light Blue/Yellow - Heater mirror feed


For the right mirror:

Yellow/Black tracer - Up
Orange/Yellow tracer - Down/right
Dark Blue -Left
Black/White tracer - Heater mirror feed

The FSM seems to cover different variations in plug connections, hence some repetative functions for the wire list above.
