I have a spare ECM from a 98 4.0 auto standard emissions ... will it work on other years/setups? I can't see Chrysler changing the computer that much every year .....

i would assume it will only work on 95/96 and up whichever year everything went to obdII,

Why not look at one of those on line parts sites and see what P/N is listed for each year. That should give you a good first cut.

Just beware the ECM's have different emissions with them.Some are federal and some are california.I don't know how it affects performance, but there is usually different #'s on them.
