Looking for Axle answers?

I am looking to replace the factory D30 Front, D 35 Rear.

What are my options?
I read that D44's or the Corp 8.25's are easy'r to swap.
95+ Ford 8.8 for rear disks.
D60's are strong, but out of what truck's do these come out of? Other than the Ford F250? Do I have to watch out for width?

Easyest to hardest weakest to strongest...

Rear Options.....
8.25, D44, F8.8, F9", D60!

Front
D44 Ford, D44 Waggy, D60 Ford

These are just generalazations of what I have picked up here. Personally I will eventually be going to a D44 front and a 9" rear.

What size tires, gears you going to run behind which engine?

Tires = 33" - 35"
Gears - 4.10+
Engine - SBC 350 / AMC 360

Basically looking for what type of vehicles I can grab axles from.

I know I can get a FORD F250 2WD for $500 CAD, Yes that a complete F250 for that price.
But am also curious if the axles would be too wide or not?

Not to be a smart ass but, why would you want to pay $500 for one axle? You get a rear axle from that same truck for around $150.
The axle swap issue gets brought up a lot, and almost every possible swap has been discussed on this board. In general the width on all truck axles will be at least 64"wms while the SUV axles are fairly near xj stock.
