Sye Help!!!

Ok, I just did what somebody the other day did and brok the tap off in the hole for RE hack n tap install. I already have thier driveshaft for it, but was thinking of saying screw trying to get the tap out and just ordering a HD SYE. Can the RE driveshaft be used for the HD SYE if I just pull the flange off the last u joint of the double cardin? Also, how hard is it to get a tap out with a tap extractor?

No,the HD SYE kits add about another 4" of driveshaft length!

i am confused, with the hack n tap, i only have about 3 inches coming out of the t case

The HD units have "zero" spline sticking out of the case and they also bolt "directly" to the u-joint(no adaptor(s) required!

right now my driveshaft is 2 inches longer than it needs to be and i was going to have it shortened, would it work at its current length?
