Factory XJ tow hooks

I pulled off some tow hooks from a XJ (86ish) at the U-Pull-it. Tried to put them on a 95' and they won't fit. I thought the front uni-frame rails would all be the same, my 00' is the same as the 95'. So was there a year that they changed?

Here is what they look like:

You do have the other part of the mounts don't you ? The L brackets and the braces that mount to the side of the uniframe.
The only slight difference I know of is with the 97+ XJs.

Charles is right, you need to head back and get the rest of the parts. Just using what you have is no better than just bolting the hooks to the sheetmetal frame. Here is a pic of all the parts you need to get off the donor rig:
