Dirtbound Tire carrier and bumper install

paulhead

I overtighten $#!t
Got this bumper at a great price when Dirtbound reintroduced it. I bought the jeep with a small hit in the rear so I liked that the brackets weren't all in one piece attached to the bumper.

Drew guide lines so I wouldn't go nut with the sawzall and cut off wheel

Hit the bumper and carrier with a couple coats of flat black

Because of the hit, brackets weren't super even but I threw some washers in there to adjust it best I could.

Spot welded the lug bolts.

Overall it came out good, gonna have to replace a leaf I pulled out the rear pack, I can tell it drooped a bit.

Looks good. Didnt think they were still making those. You order it recently?

Also can you mount it on either side?

Yeah a few months ago. It only mounts on one side but I believe he'll custom build a design for you. I know one guy here had it built with 2 swing outs.
