Has anyone had a sensor end up being wired internally wrong??
Just changed the oil psi sensor, it reads backwards. Engine off it reads good oil psi, engine on it reads low psi...???

Can a guy re-pin the harness and make it read correct??

This motor has the 3-pin oil psi sensor, when I looked up a 98 motor it’s supposed to have only two, but the 99 motors and up have 3????

Is my Heinz 57 of a Jeep going to cause me a bunch of grief haha!!!

Who has any pointers??

The motor physically doesn't matter, you need sensors/harness that is compatible with your ECU.

The harness from the motor connected right to the Jeep no problem. I’m assuming it’s the sensor itself. The old one worked just very intermittently.
