Glove box lock cylinder removal

I installed a agate colored interior into my 98 and need to swap the lock cylinder from the mist gray to it. There is a hole located toward the bottom of the lock cylinder through the plastic. Not sure if that has anything to do with removal. I tried and couldn’t. My other option is to use the original glove box and put the agate outer cover on it. It’s just the original one is filthy and the one with the incorrect lock is like new. Anyone know how to remove the locks?
