Didn't mark slip yoke/output shaft before removal

I replaced the rear u joint on my rear drive shaft, and didn't mark the transfer case output shaft before I removed the drive shaft. I also drove around in "FWD" for a bit to confirm that my driveline vibration was coming from the rear shaft. Now I've put the driveshaft back in, but I'm concerned that the driveshaft didn't match up to the output shaft the same way it went on.

Is driveshaft balance dependent on how it mates up to the output shaft? Are the output shafts keyed?

Thanks!

No to both questions. It should be fine as is.

The important thing is to mark all of the driveshaft peices in relation to each other, and the yoke at the diff. As long as you keep the front yoke in proper orientation to the shaft, if you space and clock the rear wrong, you can always remove and reinstall 180° .
