Taking a 4th grader to Moab? Have your free National Parks Pass?

In case anyone is not aware, if you have a fourth grader you can get a free National Parks Pass. This may be useful if you want to do some site seeing in Arches, Canyonlands or any other National Parks between home and Moab.

Details can be found here: https://everykidinapark.gov/get-your-pass/

Note that this program has been in existence for a number of years. Keep it in mind if you are likely to have a fourth grader at some point in the future.

Also, if you're old like me, you can get a lifetime park pass. Used to be $10, but has gone up to $80. Still a decent deal. If you order online, it's an additional $10, but you can buy (with proof of you being as ancient as me) one at any National Park. I intend to get mine next week when I head out to Death Valley to prep Gomer for Moab.
