Airbag Light

2000 XJ had a few years. Airbag light remains on all of a sudden Searched and seems possibly Clock Spring.... but my cruise and horn work fine. Jeep has been sitting only a few miles over last 2 months. Any ideas for anything else I can check? Clock spring not inexpensive

Find someone with a DRB or a fancy scanner that can read the airbag codes, then go from there.

Locate the control box under the floor center console. Check the ground connection. Other that replacing random parts, you will need a DRB-III diagnostic scanner to check the system.
