What is the difference between the outer 'C's on these two units? There is one on sale in my neighborhood with an Artec truss and Eaton E-locker that I would like to take a look at. Missing are the outer 'C's, steering and everything else that is attached to the outer C. It does have the ball joints.

I have to price out how much it would cost to get installed a selectable locker, both shafts end to end, regear to 4.10 and anything else needed in the center section of the D30 under the XJ. I recently upgraded the steering, ball joints, brakes and everything else on the outside to fix the death wobble (they had over 300,000 miles on them). The D30 have 3.55 gears and no axle shafts. The hubs are from a 2WD XJ.
