Anyone have an egr with this doohickey?

swapped my 87 intake with an 88 and the newer one has this extra piece as well as the egr has an extra vaccum nipple. Anyone know what it does and how it's hooked up?

It's an egr transducer. It does magic stuff. The egr solenoid should hook up to the left side. The right side goes to egr valve. And I think the middle is hooked to the exhaust @ egr valve. At least this is how I remember it being connected.
 
Thank you guys! Can anyone confirm which side of the egr solenoid it hooks to? the port towards the front of the jeep or the back? Most of my plastic lines are broke and patched with rubber lines and I had them all off. Want to make sure I have it hooked up correct.
 
It should show on the diagram on the firewall.
