Looking for some tips to remove the driveline (engine, trans, tcase) from the XJ. Basically I'm going to strip and part the rig out. I've already pulled of the axles and drive shafts. Was planning on pulling the front clip of as well. Does have AC but is not charged. Is everything pretty straight forward or? Thanks

Pretty straight forward. I recommend pulling the core support first but if you are taking off the whole front clip, take that off first.

Cool, thanks. Hoping the old man and I can knock it out in a weekend.

Once you have the front off your going to have a ton of room (relatively speaking) to reach and wiggle what ever you need

2 of you should be able to do it easily in a weekend -- take off the front clip 1st if your going to do it anyway -- will make pulling the motor and trans easier
