I have dana 44s and 35s along with 4.56 what do I need as lift so I dont have to trim fenders?

37"s suspension lift

I seem to recall seeing your rig w/Bushwacker flares? Should be able to get away with 8" lift and those flares.
If not...shoot at least 10" lift for no trimming to fit 37"s - way to top heavy IMO.

That BDS kit looks decent - I have not hear any input on it however. Hopefully someone will chime in on their experience with it.

why do you need more lift?
if you have sufficient up travel already adjust the bump stops.
if you need more room in the fenders/wheel wells then start cutting. 37s are a new can of worms... in a lot of ways.

you already got the perfect setup for a xj, leave it alone. 37's are just trouble on a xj, imo.

I would be more concerned about your gears than fender clearance.
I have 6.5" springs with a 1 inch spacer in the front and 1" block in the back.
I also have 5.38 gears and a rear D60. If it goes where you want it to, I would leave it alone.
If it doesn't, spend the money. It's your jeep, screw everyone else.
