I've got a reader and just downloaded an App for it that reads all the info including MPG. Will my 97 be compatible with this function?

If I use an OBD2 reader with Wifi and a smart phone app, will it read my MPG?

I'd walk out to the jeep, try it and report back. If it can indeed read the fuel delivery and speed, I suspect it can do the simple division.

Im on duty for a while but once I can I sure will try it. I hope it works, The OHCs read MPG so surely an OMB2 reader should be able too? I don't see why not?

Hi
All the way from South Africa. I have a OBD2 wifi connected to my XJ and have daskcommand loaded on my IPhone.
Works great got all the outputs and the MPG.
