I believe the second one is correct, but what the heck is the joint angle? The Dana catalog makes no mention of it.

Is it the angle that the joint can rotate? I'm betting it's just how much material is in the cutouts to allow it to rotate and with a lift and added droop, more is probably better as long as the strength is the same.

It looks like the first one is the one that would be better then.

Why wouldn't you step up to a u-bolt style?
